Sustainability
Our company has set itself ambitious sustainability targets to protect the environment and reduce our ecological footprint. At the heart of this is our goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2030.
Our environmental targets for 2024-2025:
- Conversion to electric vehicles: our fleet will consist of 16 all-electric vehicles. These include 9 Mercedes-Benz EQVs for passenger and crew transportation on the apron, four of which are already electric and the rest will be converted by the fourth quarter of 2024, and 7 Mercedes-Benz e-Vito for baggage transportation.
- Complete digitalization of documentation: By switching to digital documents, we are reducing paper consumption and increasing the efficiency of our processes.
- Electric ground handling equipment: All ground handling equipment is being converted to electric drive to further reduce emissions.
- Drinks in glass bottles: Wherever possible, we serve drinks in glass bottles instead of plastic bottles to reduce plastic waste.
- Reusable tableware: We use reusable tableware to avoid single-use plastic and minimize the amount of waste.
These measures are an important step on our way to becoming a sustainable and environmentally conscious company. We are determined to continuously review and further improve our environmental commitment in order to achieve our goal of net zero emissions by 2030.
